Itinerary

D-1: Kathmandou-Zhangmu (2500m)/Nyalam (3700m): 123km/156km
We start early in the morning for the border ( Khodari). After the formalities we pass the Friendship Bridge and we enter in the Chinese zone. Then drive to Zhangmu or Nylam (1h).
Overnight in guest house

D-2 : drive to Tingri (4300m)/Lhatse (4350m): 225km ou 244km
we pass LalungLa ( 5050m) with breathtaking views on Cho Oyu, Xishapangma and Everest.
overnight in guest house.

D-3 : drive to Xigatse (3900m) : 244km
we cross Gyatchu La (5220m). overnight in guest house.

D-4 : drive to Gyantse ( 3950m) : 90km
visit of the monastery of Tashilungpo ( Panchen Lama ), in Gyantse visit Phalkor monastery and Khumbun Stupa. overnight in guest house

D-5 : drive to Lhassa ( 3650m) : 261 km
we cross Karo La ( 5010m), KambaLa ( 4794m), visit Yamdrok lake.
overnight in hotel.

D-6 and D-7 : Lhassa
2 days sightseeing in Lhassa : Jokhang, Barkhor Bazar, Potala, Drepung and Sera
overnight in hotel

D-8 : flight to Kathmandu
transfert to Gonggar airport and flight back to KTM.

Note : we can also pick up you at your arrival in kathmandu and arrange your trip in Kathmandu ( hotel booking, sightseeing ).
